HEXAGRAPH GRAPHITE FLY ROD   $700

This is an 8’6” Hexagraph 2-piece rod for an 8wt. line. The rod is graphite, but the blanks are 6-sided and have a pleasing wood color—quite distinctive. The components are all top quality including the nickel-silver ferrules. Great rod for steelhead, Alaska trout, bass, or other large fish. Should be fine for salt water. Rods in this series were made after Powell sold the name. Blanks still made by Bruce and Walker, and the finish work still done by long-time Powell rodsmith Jim Clarkson in Chico, CA. Rod is in excellent condition, looks like new.
