UNUSED HARDY ST. GEORGE JR. RE-ISSUE SERIES, ENGLAND

Stunning little St. George Jr., with agate line guard, coming in a hand-made leather case by Hardy. This reel is serial number A54410.  Measuring 2 ½” in diameter with a 5/8” spool width, it is best for lines up to 3wt.  The bar stock alloy frame is finished bright, with brass rivets and screws. The bezel and check adjustment screw are nickel silver. The grasp is ivory-colored.  The blocked leather case is made from 7/16” vegetable tanned leather, hand stitched, and lined with red velvet. This is a fine reel, an excellent choice for use with a delicate rod.
