STANLEY BOGDAN “00” GRILSE OR LIGHT SALMON/STEELHEAD REEL

Superb reel from the bench of the legendary Stan Bogdan.  This is a single-action reel, no multiplying gear.  It has the famous Bogdan drum and shoe drag system like the other Bogdan salmon reels.  Measures 3 ¼” in diameter.  Features anodized aluminum side plates, single-piece machined aluminum frame, poacher’s knob to turn off the outgoing click, multi-position drag.  Condition of this reel is immaculate with no wear to the rims or the drag lever—two places that always reveal use on these reels.  The grasp has a little frost, which is typical of Bogdans and supposedly the result or air or sun. Comes with the leather bag that Bogdan supplied with his reels.  One-owner reel; provenance on request.
