HARDY ST. GEORGE 3 3/8” FLY REEL

This is a fine St. George from the 1950s with agate line guard and red and cream vinyl zip case.  The reel shows finish wear from 70-odd years of fishing, but all mechanicals are excellent.  The spool is tight on its spindle, the latch works perfectly, and the grasp turns freely.  The check adjustment is smooth.  The reel has the serrated brass foot.  Agate is free of cracks or chips.  The frame has no cracks or dents.  This is a reel that reminds you why Hardy is held in such high regard.  Right hand only with the line guard.
