 Fine example of the Granger model 7630 in the Favorite grade.  Ferrules are 15/64” and 10/64”.  With the heavy 1938 reel seat, the rod weighs in at a little over 3 ounces.  This model is generally considered one of the most desirable Grangers, especially for dry-fly work.  The rod is pleasing in the hand and very attractive with its gold and variegated silk wraps.

The rod features the Granger all-NS 1938 up locking reel seat, 6 ½” cork, no hook keeper, full intermediates, Granger NS ferrules with the flared welts, black steel snakes with the high helix, newer bag, Perfection tip-tops, and Granger/W&M tube.  Condition is excellent with reel seat, cork, ferrule fit, and finish all dine.  The cork has soiling and wear consistent with 70-odd years of age.
