Walker-Bampton 6′ 10″ Bamboo Rod, England

This excellent English rod was imported by Norm Thompson Outfitters during the 1970s. It is a two-piece, one-tip rod, fishing a 4wt or 5wt. Casting is quick and clean with good accuracy and impressive reach. Features cap-and-ring skeleton reel seat, Pezon-style grip, floppy ring hook keeper, English twist snake guides, nickel silver ferrules, brown silk tipped black. Original bag and generic tube. As is customary on many British rods, the tip was made 1″ shorter than the butt.
