VINCE CUMMINGS GRAPHITE FLY ROD   

Vince Cummings of Stony Point NY was one of the most highly regarded pioneer fiberglass fly rod builders, along with Russ Peak and Ferdinand Claudio. This is a graphite rod from his bench measuring 7’ ½” (nominal 7’) . It is Cummings’ Crown Graphite model FL 470 and is marked for a 4wt or 5wt line. Features down-locking reel seat over hardwood, 6” cork, bent wire hook keeper, Fuji stripper, bright snakes, tip-over ferrule, original bag and marked tube. This is a quick, lively little rod, with a firm pick-up, throwing a fast, tight loop. Excellent choice for dry flies with a 4wt.
