THOMAS AND THOMAS “HENRY’S FORK” BAMBOO FLY ROD

Beautiful 8’6” rod, 2-piece and 2-tip, rated for a 5wt.  The Henry’s Fork is one of the rods in the T&T Individualist series.  The1983 catalog describes the rod as “a longer rod with a very smooth, medium dry fly action to allow for accurate presentation of dry flies with fine tippets at longer distances.”  Designed with Western waters in mind, the Henry’s Fork provides good distance, accuracy, and enough length for mending and roll casting on large waters with complicated currents.

Built to the highest standards, the rod features polished nickel silver up-locking reel seat hardware over hardwood spacer, 6 ½” cork, nickel silver winding check, hook keeper, lightly flamed cane with 3 x 3 node alignment, tan translucent silk tipped maroon, stripping guide with alloy ring, bright metal snake guides, blued Super Z style ferrules, bookmatched tips, original bag and heavy brass-capped tube.

The condition is immaculate with glass-smooth varnish, and all components in fine shape.  Serial number is 5477; weight per catalog is 4 ¼ ounces.
