 Truly excellent contemporary rod from a maker who has had a very distinguished rod building career, spanning over 50 years. This is an 8’ 3/2 rod, good with a 5wt. The weight is 4 1/8 ounces on my scale. Serial number is 739. Features an uplocking reel seat over hardwood, 6” cork, floppy ring hook keeper, Mildrum stripper, bright snakes, Super Z style ferrules, tan silk tipped black, and 3 x 3 nodes. The finish work on this rod is notable–smooth, bright, and clear. Condition is excellent with minor soiling on the cork, as shown. Hard to imagine a more versatile rod for general trout work.
