SOUTH BEND 290 7’6″ BAMBOO FLY ROD

Popular and fine-casting rod from the 1950s.  Marked for an E or HDH line—level 5 or double taper 6.  The rod features butterscotch marbleized plastic uplocking reel seat, 5 3/4″ “Comificient” grip, floppy ring hook keeper, orange and black variegated silk, Mildrum stripper, South Bend NS ferrules, blued steel snake guides, original marked bag and tube.  This is a great rod for trout or panfish–fun to cast and well built. Condition is excellent with minor signs of fishing use.  The “Comificient” label on the thumb indentation has been lost.
