RUSS PEAK FIBERGLASS FLY ROD

This is a 7 ½’ Russ Peak kit rod.  In his catalog, The Russ Peak Story, he says “kits are so nearly finished, with everything necessary included, that almost anyone can finish the rod.”  The skeleton reel seat, cork grip, wraps, and distinctive ferrule over-wraps are typical of all Russ Peak’s work.  The only thing missing is his writing on the shaft  Features skeleton reel seat, 6” cork grip, bent wire hook keeper, Mildrum style stripper, shop-made nickel-silver ferrule, bright snake guides. This rod casts a 5wt line very well indeed.
