RICK ROBBINS “LITTLE RIVER” BAMBOO FLY ROD

Elegant 7’6” rod 2-piece, 2-tip rod for a 4wt.  Shows no evidence of use or aggressive handling.  Marked as a “Brown Toned” rod in the Little River series, 14/64” super-z style blued ferrules, serial number 811.  Features cap and ring reel seat over dark hardwood spacer, 5 1/4” cork, no hook keeper, brown silk, Mildrum style stripper, blued snakes, bag, and brass-capped tube.  The cane work is noteworthy, with uniform dark color, 3×3 node alignment, and a prominent flare beginning 2” before the winding check.

Very attractive rod from an excellent craftsman.
