RICHARD WHEATLEY 32-WINDOW FLY BOX, ENGLAND

This 32-window Wheatley box contains ~40 dry and wet trout flies—all fishable.  Measures 6” x 3 ½” x  1 3/4”.  Marked “Wheatley Silmalloy” and “Made in England” with the large lozenge on the end.  Condition is excellent with clear, bright finish. All windows working well. This configuration is considered one of the most desirable of the Wheatleys, holding a substantial number of dry or wet flies.  Wheatley fly boxes have been proudly made by British craftsmen since the 19^th century.  (12)
