R.W. HOFFHINES 7’6” BAMBOO FLY ROD, PENTA, 5wt.

Five strip rod by Rob Hoffhines showing meticulous craft and excellent design.  Pentagonal rods in general are quick and responsive, and this one is no exception.  Offers fast pick up, excellent distance, good mending ability, and pin-point accuracy. Features cap and ring reel seat over blond hardwood spacer, 6’ cigar grip, composite winding check, brown silk tipped red, Mildrum style stripper, darkened snakes, truncated Super Z style ferrules, original bag and tube.  This is a one-tip rod, built as such.  The cane is flamed, and the strips are laid up in a spiral node pattern.  Condition is immaculate.  The rod is probably unused.
