Vintage Pflueger Medalist showing some fishing use. I estimate that 80% of the original black finish remains. Features include metal spool latch plate, sculpted pillars, 6 pillars at center of spool, amber grasp. Marked 1394 and Patent Pending. This reel has a simple duplicated check system with none of the annoying cluck-cluck-cluck of later Medalists. There is no line guard, so the reel can be set up for RH or LH
