ORVIS/YOUNGS FEATHERWEIGHT FLY REEL IN CASE, SPOOL

Immaculate Orvis Featherweight made by Youngs in England in the 1960s.  Vinyl case is perfect.  The finish and mechanicals on this reel are all you could ask for.  Spooled with what appears to be two 4wt floating lines.  The check system has a single pawl, unlike Hardy’s duplicated pawl, but has a positive cam-operated check regulator, which is clearly labeled for use.  Reel measures just 3” in diameter and 5/8” spool width.  Full frame, exposed rivets, aluminum foot, contoured grasp.  The extra spool has a smudge of black on the hub, as shown, should clean off.
