ORVIS MANCHESTER 7’6” BAMBOO FLY ROD

Orvis Manchester impregnated rod, 7’6” two-piece, two-tip, weighing 3.8 ounces on my scale.  Fishes a 5wt or 6wt line; ferrule is 12/64”.  Condition is excellent with the reliable Orvis impregnated finish fine, ferrule fit great, all wraps fine.  There is a slight bend in one tip-top and a seam mark on the butt.  This Manchester rod appears to be completely similar to the popular 7’6”,  3 7/8 ounce Battenkill except that the wraps are a brighter red, and it was sold in an unmarked Peerless tube (now with a replacement cap). Ferrules are conventional blued Orvis ferrules, and reel seat is down-locking Orvis seat over walnut.  Excellent all-around trout tool.
