ORVIS/HARDY CFO III FLY REEL, ENGLAND

Enormously popular 4-5wt fly reel, made by Hardy for Orvis. The name “CFO” commemorates Charles F. Orvis, patriarch of the Orvis firm. Features the “frameless” design developed by Stan Bogdan.  Set up for left hand wind, but easily converted.  Comes with WF-5 F line in good shape.  Condition is fine used, with some finish wear on edge of back plate.  Bushing is tight, check is crisp, exposed rivets on back plate indicate Hardy manufacture.
