ORVIS DELUXE 7’6” BAMBOO FLY ROD

This rod is marked as “Orvis Impregnated / Deluxe” serial number 25031. Weight is 3 7/8 ounces on my scale. No line size marked, but handles a 5wt very well. This rod shows very light use, with all hardware and the finish excellent. The bag is the correct plaid bag for a Deluxe, but the reel seat and grip are more like an ordinary Battenkill. The tube is the correct black, but has no label. Orvis serial number records, on the database, show rod that rod #25031 is a 7’6” Deluxe, as indicated. Perhaps the grip and reel seat were changed at a client’s request, or it could have been made that way.
