ORVIS BATTENKILL BAR STOCK V FLY REEL, ENGLAND

This reel was made by British Fly Reels (BFR) for Orvis.  Diameter is 3 5/8” with a 7/8” spool width.  Now right hand drive, but easy to alter if you are left handed. Incorporates frameless design, sealed drag, dull anodized aluminum. Machined from 6262-T6 aircraft-grade bar stock aluminum.   Nice machining and attention to details.  Looks like a 6wt F line on it, but plenty of room for lines up to 9wt.  Very good choice for light salt water fishing.
