ORVIS BATTENKILL BAMBOO FLY ROD, 7’6”

Here is a 4 ounce version of the popular two-piece Battenkill 7’6” rod, SN 56738. Made with one tip (and so marked on the tube) and rated to cast a 7wt line. Following the old “one size lower” rule for line size on Orvis cane rods, this one would probably be best with a 6wt. Condition of this rod is excellent with hardware, cane, cork, wraps, and ferrule fit all fine. The impregnated finish on Orvis rods is about as reliable as you could ask. This is an excellent rod to fish all day in a variety of conditions. Nice for precise dry fly work with a DT line, and versatile enough for nymphs, wet flies, or chironomyds.
