Orvis Battenkill 9′ Bamboo Fly Rod

Clean and shiny Orvis 9′ two-piece, two-tip rod, SN23501. Comes with the original Orvis paperwork. Condition is exceptional with all wraps, finish, and hardware beautiful. Minor soiling to the cork. Original bag and tube. The rod has 17/64″ ferrules with good fit. Reel seat is bright aluminum, ferrules are bright, and snake guides are bright. Bright Mildrum stripper. Rod weighs 6 3/4 ounces as marked. The rod is rated for a GBG line, double taper 8wt. Casts very well with an 8wt-lots of power and reach. This would be a fine rod for large freshwater fish, or light to medium salt water. The reel seat, ferrules, and guides would do well in a marine environment.
