ORVIS BATTENKILL 8’ BAMBOO FLY ROD

Newer Battenkill 8’, SN 80450. This is a 2/2 rod, marked for a 6wt line. Exceptional condition. Features Orvis down-locking reelseat over mahogany, 6 ¼” cork, floppy ring hook keeper, resorcinol glue, carboloy stripper, bright snakes, blackened NS ferrules, 3 x 3 node spacing, original bag and tube. I do not believe this rod has seen much time on the stream. Nice casting rod. Handles a 6wt as marked, so good for larger water or windy afternoons. As usual with Orvis, also handles one line smaller.
