ORVIS BATTENKILL 7’6” BAMBOO FLY ROD

This is a fine example of the ever-popular 7’6” Orvis Battenkill, weighing in a 3 7/8 ounces.   Serial number is 68206.  Has the green tube label.  These rods are marked for a 6wt, but usually fished with a 5wt.  I think they are fine with either, and I prefer a 6wt on a windy day on big water.  Probably very close to an all-around trout rod for many people.  Capable of delicate presentations and also capable of belting out long casts when asked.  This one is in excellent-plus condition with finish, cork, wraps, ferrules all fine.
