ORVIS 7’ “DELUXE”  BAMBOO FLY ROD

This is a two-piece, two-tip Orvis Deluxe, weighing 2 ½ ounces, as marked, with an 11/64” ferrule.  Orvis rates the rod as a 6wt., but I believe that it is better with a 5wt or possible a 4wt.  It has the small Deluxe style skeleton reel seat with two rings, and a 4 ½” grip.  There is a winding from the cork to a bent wire hook keeper, blued Mildrum stripper, blued nickel silver Orvis ferrules; all cane is full length and straight.  Serial number 35503.  This is a superb rod for precision casting dry flies on fine leaders to cautious trout.
