MARRYAT  MR 8.5 FLY REEL

 The Marryat reels were designed by George Gehrke as a lightweight reel in several sizes for trout and steelhead.  They have been manufactured by three companies in the US, Japan, and Switzerland.  The basic design features an ingenious over-running clutch with a shoe and drum drag adjusted by a cam.  Simple, functional, and reliable.  The machined aluminum frame and spool are anodized to an attractive copper color.  Spool diameter is 3” and width is 1 3/16”.  Takes line up to 8wt.  Comes with a good sink-tip line.  Set up for RH; serial number is 023414.  Comes in original black suede pouch.  Condition is immaculate with no evidence of fishing use.
