This is a 7’9” rod from the Gallas shop, weighing 4.1 ounces. It is #1 of his Parabolic 93 series, made in 2005. Deep-flexing action with great reach and more control than you might expect. Reminiscent of Paul Young’s work. Bright down-locking hardware over cork skeleton reel seat, 6 ½” grip, no hook keeper, darkened Mildrum stripper, bronzed snakes, darkened super Z style ferrules, original bag and tube. The cane work is excellent, as is the finish. Lightly flamed cane with nodes arranged 2-up and a straight butt showing no swell. This rod has not seen much use at all—really a shame. $845
