Excellent rod by contemporary California rod maker James Reams. This is an 8′ rod, 2-piece, 2-tip, weighing 4 3/4 ounces, and marked for a 5wt line. Slide-band reel seat over dark hardwood, floppy ring hook keeper, brown silk, 3-up node construction, super Z style ferrules, and blued steel snakes. Finish is glassy and flawless. Serial number 187. This rod casts a 5wt with accuracy and surprising reach.
