Here is an 8’3” hollow-built quadrate from this seldom-seen California maker. The rod has 3 pieces with 2 tips. Serial number is D8334-H-2112. Features blackened NS slide band reel seat over hardwood burl, 6 1/2” cork, FE Thomas style hook keeper, blackened guides, truncated shop-made ferrules, brown silk tipped black. This rod is essentially new—the plastic is still on the cork. The action is quick but smooth and it feels very nice in the hand. $520
