HARDY THREE-SCREW ST. GEORGE FLY REEL, 3 3/8” ENGLAND $425

This pre-war St. George features an agate line guard, ribbed brass foot, and duplicated check. The spool is enlarged at the spindle for faster line retrieve. This reel is marked T.P., indicating that the maker was Thomas Pattinson, who worked at Hardy’s from 1920 until 1930. Should be good for lines through 6wt. Condition is fine with leaded finish rubbed around grasp and on rims. Agate is free of cracks or chips; some scuffing on the latch cover. Reel foot is tight, latch is tight, no cracks in the frame or pillars. With line guard, right hand only.
