HARDY “PERFECT” 2 7/8” FLY REEL

Here is a nice little Perfect, made before WW II, with three pins on the winding plate, and the aluminum ribbed foot with the patent number.  This reel was made without a line guard, so it can be set up for left hand wind. (Most people who do this put a drop of Loctite on the spool threads).  This model Perfect is good for lines up to 4wt. Condition is good, with finish showing even patina, no cracks, bushing tight enough, no line cuts on the pillars.  The foot has been shortened about ½” in a very neat job.  There is a 2 mm nick on the lower rim of the frame, as shown.
