 Hardy’s new version of the Marquis is a classy update of the Marquis series from the 1970s.  The reel features a 13-position adjustable gear and pawl drag that has duplicated checks.  The reel has the bright palming rim like the old Marquis and the simple frameless design.  This reel is spooled with a 6wt floating line and backing.  The extra spool has backing only.  Set up for left hand wind, but easy conversion.  The reel and spool come in black neoprene cases.  Condition is excellent plus—virtually unused.
