Gary Howells made this exceptional rod for himself, as recorded in his shop ledger.  The rod is one of the few flamed cane rods he made, offering a little extra punch.  Hollow-built and put up in a very nice leather case with his name embossed on the side.  The rod casts like a dream with a quick pick-up and extra smooth presentation.  All the trout rod you would ever need.  Features skeleton reel seat, down-locking slide band, 6” cork grip, floppy ring hook keeper, Mildrum stripper, bright snakes, 13/64” NS ferrules, original bag and tube.  Condition is excellent with all hardware, wraps, and finish fine.  The ferrule fit is tight.
