FIVE EDWARD HAAS STEELHEAD FLIES IN STOCK BOX

Here are five steelhead flies by California tyer Edward L. Haas.  Two patterns are represented:  three Black Gordon and two Protein.  Haas was an influential western tyer, known for the originality of his patterns and his lasting influence. He was also a bit of a character, living in a remote cabin on the Klamath River in Northern California.  Haas tied on specially-made hooks of his own design. His work was the subject of two articles in The Art of Angling Journal, winter 2001, and spring 2002.  The flies come in their original stock box with Haas’s label attached.
