FIN NOR #2 “WEDDING CAKE” IN BOX, LHW

Beautiful lightly used #2 Wedding Cake, 3 1/2” diameter by 1” spool width for lines through 9wt.  These Fin Nor reels were one of the pioneering fly reels designed for salt water use.  The distinctive wedding cake configuration on the back plate houses the powerful draw bar drag mechanism.  This reel is exceptional for its excellent condition.  The anodized finish is uniform and clear.  The bright parts (foot and line guard) are like new.  There are a few microscopic scratches on the bottom rim.  The drag and winding plate drive operate perfectly. This is a very practical size for most light salt water fishing.   The original maroon box is very good, as is the neoprene pouch.  The reel just shines.  This is SN 799.
