FIN NOR #1 “WEDDING CAKE” UNUSED IN BOX, LHW

Beautiful and immaculate #1 Wedding Cake, 3” diameter by 7/8” spool width for lines through 6wt.  These Fin Nor reels were one of the pioneering fly reels designed for salt water use.  The distinctive wedding cake configuration on the back plate houses the powerful draw bar drag mechanism.  This reel is exceptional for its pristine condition.  The anodized finish is flawless.  The bright parts (foot and line guard) are like new.  The drag and winding plate drive operate perfectly.  There is no name on the name plate.  This is SN 477.  I do not believe that many of these small wedding cakes were made.  The original maroon box shows its age, as does the neoprene pouch, but the reel shines.
