EXCELLENT PLUS ABEL #2 FLY REEL

This Abel reel is 3 1/8” in diameter, with a spool width of 1 1/16”.  Perfect for an 8wt with plenty of room for backing.  Drawbar design with a smooth drag.  Finish is shiny black.  Serial number 4703.  Comes with a good 8wt WF floating line.  The condition is exceptional with no blemishes on the spool or frame.  Comes with bright red Abel fabric pouch.  Set up for right hand wind.

Normally these reels are RH/LH convertible.  This one–with pointy teeth on the drag plate–requires a conversion kit from Abel.  Recently, these kits have been out of stock.  So…I cannot guarantee that you change it over to LH.
