This rod is an exceptionally handsome example of Schroeder’s work. Serial number 12395, 7′, and marked for a 4wt. The rod features shop-made cap and ring reel seat over curly maple, cigar grip, hook keeper in winding check, Carboloy stripper, bright snakes, shop made ferrules, original bag and tube. The finish is immaculate. Total weight on my scale is 3 1/2 ounces. Distinctive open-end butt cap and knurled ferrule plug. Fine casting rod.
