Seldom-seen reel, marked as a “Trout,” but featuring anti-reverse mechanics and a massive drag system.  Should be good for lines through 7wt.  Solid machined frame anodized gold, handle recessed into frame to protect line when casting.  Wheel drag control.  Serial number 51.  This is the 2.8-1″ version of the McNeese Trout.  In a recent conversation, Dave said that he had made a smaller version, and a larger version intended for steelhead. Condition is unused with finish and workings fine.  Right hand wind. Very solid reel, excellent for big water, or light salt water.
