CHRIS CARLIN 7’9” BAMBOO FLY ROD, FOR A 4wt LINE, HOLLOW BUILT

Beautiful Carlin rod, 2-piece, 2-tip, for a 4wt.  Made in 2013, but plastic wrap on the cork shows that it is unused.  The taper is from Chris’s LL series, and it is hollow built.  Serial number 1304.  The rod features down-locking reel seat over cocobolo spacer, blackened hardware, 6 ½” cork, no hook keeper, deep red wraps tipped gold, agate stripper, blued snakes, truncated step-down ferrules, original bag and brass capped tube.  Superb casting machine with great reach and control. The finish stands out for its deep gloss and absolute consistency.  Elegant rod, true legacy piece.
