JENKINS 8’ BAMBOO FLY ROD, THREE PIECE

This is a fine, new-looking Jenkins rod, 3-piece, 2-tip. The model number or serial number is GA 803-2. Weight and line suggestion are not marked on the rod, but it weighs 4 ounces on my scale. I believe it would be best in the 5wt bracket. Crisp action for general trout work. Jenkins’ craftsmanship is exceptional, as usual. Down-locking slide band over cedar ?, 6” cork, Mildrum style stripper, truncated ferrules, flawless finish. This rod shows very subtle evidence of fishing use or lawn casting. If you were limited to one trout rod (heavens forbid!) this would be a good choice.
