BELLINGER “DELUXE” FLY REEL

Beautiful 3” fly reel from the bench of Al Bellinger, Salem, Oregon.  This reel is unused, coming from the Bellinger estate.  Left hand or right hand, your choice.  Best for lines 4wt to 7wt.  The “Deluxe” was the second trout reel design from the Bellinger shop, after the Mark I and before the Classic.  The rims are nickel silver, radiused to minimize dents, and made with the traditional extension to prevent line getting under the crank. The spool and foot are polished machined aluminum, side plates Delrin, accent pieces nickel silver.  The pillars are stainless, and screws are nickel silver.  The spool is machined aluminum fitted with the .050” Allen retaining screw on the axle and an adjustment screw in the axle under the oil cap.  Bellinger reels combine innovative engineering with flawless fit and finish.  I have hard leather clamshell-style cases made by A.E. Nelson available to fit this fine reel.
