PENDING A&F “Favorite” 8′ 6″ Bamboo Fly Rod by Edwards

Here is an excellent rod built in the Edwards shop for Abercrombie and Fitch. The “Favorite” model was higher grade, with machined ferrules, walnut spacer, and a sturdy down-locking reel seat. Features a bent wire hook keeper, Mildrum stripper, blued steel snakes, original bag and tube. Ferrules are 16/64″ and 10/64″; weight is 4 1/2 ounces. Condition is exceptional. Good hardware, wraps, and ferrule fit. The finish is all original and uniform. There is some roughness on the cork grip, and the tube collar has cracked and been mended. This rod casts a 5wt with considerable authority.
