John Gallas made this rod in 1996. Condition is excellent plus and all original. John’s finish work is exquisite. He has developed his own tapers and makes his own hardware. The tapers are aggressive; this rods throws a tight, driving loop. It is suitable for all-around trout work in smaller waters, but comes into its own with tiny dry flies. This is a 3-piece 2-tip rod for a 4 wt. line. Weight is 3.4 oz. Dark green wraps tipped black, slide-band reel seat with butternut spacer, blued hardware. Ferrules are 15/64” and 9/64” with tips 5/64” below the tip-top wraps.
